Additionally, these are only monthly statistics and to get a better scope of what is happening, you need to look at a longer period of time.  More high-end homes might be sold in one month as opposed to another.  By looking at a longer period, you will get a better overall picture.  It is all relative and this has to be understood when utilizing these stats.

58 homes were sold in the month of January with an average sales price of $72,455.  Of these, 21 were bank-owned and 21 were short sales.  That means that approximately 28% of the homes sold were ‘normal’ sales.

Uptown Altamonte Art Expo

The Uptown Altamonte Art Expo is this weekend, February 18 & 19, 2012.  It is located on Cranes Roost Boulevard along the shores of Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte.

It is a free Art & Music Festival for the whole family with children’s activities as well as concerts in the Eddie Rose Amphitheater.

The Expo runs from 10am to 6pm on both days with free parking available in the Altamonte Mall parking lot.

According to the promoters, “The Expo is organized to bring art and music together and enhance the quality of life inCentral Floridain ways that only come from art.”

86 homes were sold in the month of December with an average sales price of $115,994.  Of these, 18 were bank-owned and 36 were short sales.  That means that approximately 37% of the homes sold were ‘normal’ sales.
